OLAP processes vast queries

Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) helps to process vast queries online. Queries are multi dimensional and analytical. It is a part of business intelligence. It includes relational reporting and data mining. OLAP gives service in the area of business reporting for sales, business process management, marketing, management reporting etc. It also includes new areas like agriculture. The term OLAP is derived from another term which is OLTP (Online Transaction Processing).

OLAP contains some databases which use a multidimensional data model. It facilitates complex analytical and vast queries very fast. Some aspects are common to navigational as well as hierarchical databases. These databases are more speedier than relational databases. The result of an OLAP query is generally displayed in the matrix format. It is also called pivot format. Rows and columns of the matrix are made from the dimensions and the values are formed by the measures.

An OLAP cube is there in the core of an OLAP system. It is also called a multidimensional cube or a hypercube. Some numeric facts are there which is called measures. They are classified into the dimensions. We get measures from the records of the fact table and dimensions from the dimensions tables. A set of labels or its meta-data are meant by a measure. These labels are described by a dimension. It contains information about measure. For example a cube contains a store’s sales which is the measure and the date/time which is dimension. Each sale contains date/time label which describes that sale in more detail.

In an OLAP system dimensions can be added to the structure such as store, customer, and cashier. It is entered in a column which is added in a fact table. Its purpose is to enable the analyst to view measures along any combinations of dimensions. Basically a multidimensional structure is defined as a different relational model which uses multidimensional structures to systematize data and explain the relationship between the data. The structure is broken into cubes which store and access data in the boundaries of each cube.

Information Related To Agriculture Products, Agriculture Market, Agri Trading.

Agriculture marketing is the word which is being used in the world of trading. When the goods are transferred from producer to consumer is termed as agriculture marketing. Most of things are connected to each other in agri marketing like production, growing, harvesting , packing, transport, storage, distribution, advertising etc. Market should provide profit to all whether its a customer or producer. It must be customer oriented. In olden days their were different techniques has been applied to transfer product but today in modern marketing different procedures applies to transfer the agri product from producer to customer. Agri products contain everything Seeds, grains, fruits, vegetables, vegetable oil etc. In the development of rural areas, income generation, linkage market plays an important role. These connect social and economic needs.
In the olden days it was very difficult to know the status or rates of the products but in the modern world new technologies are developed through which one can get each and every information related to the market and can be up to date. SMS on cell phone and FM radio facility provides best service to the customer as well as producer. Internet is the another way to get the information. The changes occure can be seen easily. Agriculture commodities are of two types hard and soft. Corn, wheat, soyabean, sugar all are soft commodity. Hard commodity are mined from the ground. One fifth of total GDP contain by agriculture commodities.
Agriculture marketing has two objectives :
1. Sale of surplus commodity
2. Buy other commodity to satisfy needs.
Basically market is divided into three parts :
1.Wholesale market
2. Retail market
3. Fairs
Marketing channel is used through which products are transfer from producer to consumer. Marketing channel consist of storage, handling, transporting, packaging and retailing. In India agriculture is the largest source of employment.
Spot trading is the another term used in market in which delivery takes place on the spot or immediately. Future marketing also done in agriculture products in which the product is being buy or sell in the future trading. The National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd and the National Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. All three have electronic trading and settlement systems and a national presence. Trading in commodity is much more easier then Stocks because their margin is very low. Brokrage is ranges from 0.05% to 0.12% only.
Commodities are generally considered as more stable and consistant in investing but it also have some risk. Agriculture product are transferred from the producer to the consumer in many different ways. Some acts are also applied over the agriculture trading. On average, every hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, around $6 million in U.S. agricultural products–grains, oilseeds, cotton, meats, vegetables, snack foods, etc., will be consigned for shipment for export to foreign markets.

What Are The Advantages Of Using Electronic Tilt Sensors In Off-road Vehicles

Off-road vehicles are designed to perform the most difficult tasks in often in the most extreme outdoor conditions. In industries like construction, forestry and agriculture, vehicles often have to navigate on uneven surfaces and slippery terrain whilst lifting and manoeuvring heavy and uneven loads. This can present difficult challenges for the drivers of these vehicles: for many vehicle operators, the chances of tipping or rolling the vehicle over are high, so obviously safety is a paramount concern. However, electronic sensing technology is now available which makes the vehicle drivers job easier and safer. As these electronic sensors can detect the vehicles operating condition and alignment, the safety of the operator is greatly increased.

Tilt Sensors Monitor the Safe Horizontal Alignment of Vehicles
Off-road vehicles often have to work in extreme conditions, where rugged terrain and heavy moving machine parts can quickly shift the balance of a vehicle. A shift in the dynamics of the vehicle or an uneven transfer of weight or dangerous alignment can cause hazardous conditions for the vehicle operator. Electronic sensors can help operators to monitor the horizontal alignment of vehicles. Tilt sensors can precisely detect even the slightest angle variation. Tilt sensors can give the driver accurate information about the exact road-grade angle, the boom angle, the platform angle and the crane-level angle. Armed with this important information, an operator can then take action to avoid a potentially disastrous situation.

Tilt sensors, however, need to sturdy and resilient. They have to be able to withstand the extreme shock, vibration, and all the harsh elements associated with outdoor use. Moreover they also have to be able to cope with direct exposure to chemicals, dirt, moisture, sunlight, and electrical interference. Therefore tilt sensors have been designed so that they are capable of resisting these elements and are able to perform in extreme environments. They are able to do so because of certain special design features like:

Compact housings rated for IP67 protection which encase and protect the electronics from chemicals and liquid ingress,
UV-resistant plastic and metal housings which prevent damage from exposure to sunlight,
Noise-immune technology which enables the sensors to ignore conducted and radiated electrical noise.
Outputs protected from short-circuits and overloads which eliminate damage during installation,
LHighly flexible cables, which are armoured to resist chemicals and perform at temperatures as low as 40 F.

Sensing technologies
There are two very different, yet highly effective sensing technologies that can be applied to verify the horizontal alignment of off-road vehicles: electrolytic tilt sensing and micro electromechanical sensing. (MEMS)

Electrolytic tilt sensing
Electrolytic tilt sensing technology can measure the tilting of a reference plane in two axes, by measuring the tilt angle with reference to the earths ground plane, using an accelerometer. At the centre of the sensors core are measuring cells surrounded by fluid or liquid. These measuring cells monitor ant change in the liquids conductivity to detect angle variations and deviations.

MEMS sensing technology
The second technology is micro electromechanical sensing (MEMS). When a vehicle lifts or tilts, the movement is transferred to the beams of the sensor that deflect to take the inertial force of the mass. The change in capacitance is proportional to the tilt of the sensor, which is ultimately then converted to a change of voltage and transferred as an analogue value to the driver of the vehicle. The use of MEMS sensors incorporating this technology are better suited to applications where a single-axis wide tilt angle (90) and lower precision (1) are needed.
